I saw the score of this game was 8-0 in favor of belpre? What happened? Did Belpre get lucky and catch trimble sleeping or do you think belpre could contend in the TVC-Hocking?

I agree. I know you can't blame a loss on the refs but WOW. This was by far the WORST officiated game Ive ever been to. Shocking that it happened during the tournament.

I'm going to put belpre in there. District runner up last year and only lost one starter who will be easily replaced this year. I would look out for the golden eagles this year. They'll be on a tear.

Belpre will be tough this year. This group of young men have been playing together for a long time and have been pretty successful through the years.(juniors and seniors) The upper-classmen will have pretty high goals for this year coming off a district runner-up last season. Will the eagles have enough to field a jv team? The last couple years they haven't had enough but I've heard from a few people that the freshmen class has a few good ball players. This could help come tournement time

Belpre's pitching should be solid this year. They return ullman, watkins, and nestor from last year. Watkins will be the ace and should have a solid year. Looking for a good season from the Golden Eagles.

After tonights preview, what are your opinions on how good the conference will be this year?

Belpre has improved to a 11 and 2 record this year. way to go EAGLES!!! good luck the rest of the season and i hope you continue the winning in tournement play.

i will have to say belpre will be the sleeper of the hocking. even though they lost 8 or 9 seniors (im not real sure), they will have a lot of talent. if they can play together unilke last years team, i believe they will have a very sucessful season. i predict they finish in the top 3.

I believe that Drew Nestor and Ryan Leasure from Belpre could step up and play their way into this category.

im going to throw nestor from belpre out there for defensive. he's been a big part of belpre pitching along with watkins, who imo is the best pitcher in the tvc ohio.

ill go with belpre in this one. looks like the eagles pitching has came together in the past 2 games having a combined 18 s/o to only 4 walks. if they can pull together and play error free defense they should be fine.

Im gonna go with Belpre to win the hocking. Even though they return a comlpetely different team from last year, i believe coach parsons will have them ready to go. defense will be the key for them as they already have a couple kids who can score at will

im pretty sure belpre crushed ny last year at ny and did the same when they came to belpre...same goes with vc. i dont see either team finishing ahead of belpre this year. belpre will be a better team this year than last year.
