i dont see any fresh playing. hoffman is too small and isnt physical enough to play with the other guards on varsity. (tate, slattery, wadeker, miller, and williams) and ryan leasure has the skill but the same as hoffman. he isnt big enough yet but the could both see varsity their sophomore year.

i think belpre will win. it will be tough to stop returning leading scorer markie tate and sims together.

teach123...why are all your posts about belpre negative? i believe belpre will have a very successful season. you wont see the bad attitudes toward the coaches or anything this year like you have for the past 2 seasons. belpre will play good TEAM basketball and should do good in the tournement.

i have to agree, this is going to be a tough game for the golden eagles. too many problems with injuries and grades. ill take warren in this one. 28-7. Good luck eagles!

belpre got both games in but they lost both games. they did good in the field but theyre not hitting the baseball as well as they did when they had all their starters. pitching was good, drew nestor pitched relief of both games and did well for being a new player at the legion level. i cant wait to ...

belpre didnt get out coached last year..they jus outplayed. the eagles and coach plummer will be more prepared this year and already have one game under their belt. i think belpre will fix the mistakes they had against megis and will come out with a victory at warren....itll be close, but im picking...

from what ive read and heard, it seems it was a really good game. Now what does Belpre have to do to improve and try to come back from warren with a big victory? and how was the jv game...were there any surprise players that could possibly move up and help out the varsity teams later on in the season?

i agree, along with belpre's 7 returning starters, there is a pretty talented freshmen class coming up to play this year. should be an exciting season.

I also agree but i dont look for belpres outfield to change as they return all starters that played outfield last year.

Yes jesse whittington is good. he makes good contact with the bat and is a good fielder. id look for him and a few other freshman on belpre's baseball team to make an impact on the season.
