I would like to see Wellston-Jackson game move to the third week. Jackson probably goes unbeaten this year and maybe continue to be good, but this year's team is exceptional. I don't think they are too good to play area teams.

Downtown hold your fire, Eyelander is not from Wellston. You are right Oak Hill deserves respect and I am sure Coach Hutchinson and the Rockets are not taking the Oaks lightly. If you notice Wellston posters are not trash talkers.

Congrats to the Blue Devils. The Rockets fought hard and didn't give up. I am looking forward to the rest of the season. The officiating crew missed a few calls that also favored the Blue Devils. I do not think it had an impact on the game. Good luck the rest of the way.

Jackson could go 10-0, Wellston playing a tougher opponent in the opener will be an advantage for the Rockets, I honestly don't know who will win but I will look forward to another typical Wellston-Minford tough, close game on Friday if the Rockets limit their mistakes and play a full four quarters.

Just heard on the Radio that this is Time-Warner Cable High School Game of the Week. It is going to be broadcast in 800 Ohio communities on Channel 99. I am looking forward to a great game. I hope both teams have an injury free game. I agree that the Ironmen are the favorites but Wellston will come to play. As in most games turnovers and mistakes, will determine the outcome.
