Re: WK3 (0-2) Piketon @ (1-1) Northwest

I'm afraid that the mohawks are going to play the role of the sacrificial lamb for a good and frustrated Piketon ball club. Best of luck to both teams.

Re: West BasketBall 08-09

If the plan is still to have VanGundy run the show at the point guard spot, then I think West can be somewhat productive on offense, as VanGundy has shown in the past a tendency to get his teammates involved. Bricker and Shupert will get touches and I think we will see some ball movement, and that i...

Re: SOC II 2008

I think it was a good season. Until you beat someone with substance, it can not be called a great season. Our last quality wins were at Nelsonville, and beating the Burg at Northwest. Third place in the S.O.C. II is not something in which you should get on this forum and beat your chest. Let's not ...

Re: Minford 2008

Spoke with my old buddy from out around Muletown last week. Although I feel West, and Burg will both be tough outings for anyone in the conference this season, the falcons are going to be one tough team to beat.

1.Minford
2.Portsmouth West
2.Wheelersburg
2.Waverly
3.Valley
4.Northwest

Re: West hires Smith as next head coach

A lot of younger senators have some balls bouncing over on the west side, and with practice comes improvement. The upcoming year is going to be full of youth for the senators with the exception of a few vets like Justin VanGundy, and Bricker.

From what I have heard and seen, Minford and Portsmouth West are the cream of the crop when it comes to 7th grade girls basketball for the upcoming season.

Is that the running back from last season. He will be tough. He ran really hard and earned some yardage against Minford.

What's the story out at Northwest. It was posted for jr high boys positions a few weeks back, and more recently a boys jv and varsity assistant position.

Is Scarberry looking to establish a new culture at nw?
