Re: Logan vs Rock Bottom
Paladin got one prediction pretty right. Quick search from the Logan New Coach thread a couple years back turns this up. Not real impressed. He is o.k., but the Chiefs are playing better competition. We will see, but he has nowhere to go but up after a 1-9 campaign. I’ll grade this a C+ But man, so...

Re: Notes from call with Gov
Have some notes from the calls with the Governor last night. Final order will be out by noon today. - Working with local health departments and will have compliance people checking in on schools. - Every participant (player/cheer/band) will be permitted to have family - up to 4 tickets per particip...

Re: Chesapeake Cancels Fall Sports
Yesssss! Someone with some common sense. Hopefully the Governor will display some today and shut down all sports. Do the right thing people wearing the mask and complying with all orders pertaining to COVID -19. The only thing anyone should be doing outside without a mask on is protesting peacefull...

Bravo to the Chesapeake school system. The welfare of the students, staff and all school personnel should be proud of such a decision to safe guard our kids, teachers and the well being of all parents and grand parents. There priority’s are straight and should be commended when this is all done wit...

Re: 2020 Football Season
I think it's safe to say that common sense will soon kick in and we can kiss the 2020 football season goodbye. Too much risk, and people just will not put a mask on to prevent the spread of he virus. They say they want a season more than anything, but choose making a political statement, by not wear...

Re: Suspended Summer Workouts for Fall Sports
Scioto County now moves to level 3, so masks are required 100% in public. Hearing a couple schools have halted all sports activities, will likely be all schools. I guess 4 hospitalizations in 16 days was too much  https://www.portsmouth-dailytimes.com/news/50905/scioto-county-declared-level-...

No, just the brutally mean and ugly parts. Those who want to hang onto it are Trumpists, which is way worse than a Marxist.Raider6309 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 2:19 pm I think it honors the past but these young Marxist want to erase the entire past.

Re: Suspended Summer Workouts for Fall Sports
They should all shut down until a vaccine is available. This thing is going to continue to get worse and worse until people wake up, put a mask on, and stay home when at all possible. Also, when a vaccine does come out you'll either get it or get the virus, so choose wisely.

Re: (4) Vinton County vs (5) Athens
I didn't mean anything cruel by it. He is not the fastest player, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing, it's a factual statement. I like how People can get on here and downplay teams and downgrade coaches and their sons who play for them and talk about daddy ball and nobody bats an eye. But Lord ...

Re: Coaching, how young is to young?
What's the record for youngest head coach? I would be more interested in the age of the oldest. Some of the guys/gals on here who coached hung on way too long and even when they stopped coaching refused to give up the AD position. I realize they are a protected class, but some of those dinosaurs go...

Someone should file a complaint with the ACLU about this. Targeting is a serious offense, and should be stopped.Purple Rain wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2018 10:19 am This happens to Kaleb Hill at Eastern on a nightly basis. He is TARGETED just because he's a BIG MAN

I want POSITIVE feedback from players, former players, assistants, etc. about what these Coaches do that Sets them Apart. Also please add ...

Re: Can we win at Wahama tonight?
I am just proud that coach Caldwell has the disposition and strength of character to continue coaching in the same manner that his father does at Trimble. That is a class family. Junior following in the footsteps of what has to be a very proud father. I am sure his father, Jim, is more than proud o...

Re: Playing Time
Basketball is tough. Kids practice and rarely see court. Eventually kids tire of the grind. In football you can put them somewhere usually on special teams but in basketball you can’t. I think if I coached basketball I’d try to think of ways to get kids some time even in tough games. I think every ...
