Re: EAST DISTRICT D2
Caught East Liverpool in the OVAC. Finals today against St.C. The team is really nice. I think they will get through St.C. like they did today in the playoffs. St.C only hurt them with their big (Henry) and McCort who they never stopped. Henry seemed to give up after getting hounded all night by the...

Re: East District Division IV
Also Central really seemed to blow this game. Not sure what their deal was, they looked like the better team but couldn't close.

Re: East District Division IV
River really impressed me. You knew Linsly was going to pull away late in this one. Linsly is rotating 9 or 10 kids. It's just too much for small schools to match that energy level for four quarters when you are running six or seven. River is nice though. I like them to come out of the district afte...

Re: ovac finals 2/12
Didn't watch 1A Central loses to Shadyside..missed opportunities and mental mistakes and lack of adjustment by WC in a coin flip game. First time seeing Shadyside. They were bigger than I thought and had nice guards. River losses to Linsly. River's rotation was about as good as Linsly but Linsly was...

Re: D3 East Sectional 12.Fort Frye @ 8. Morgan 2/22
I like Morgan in this one. As mentioned above they have a big kid in the middle (44?) who will get his, wide body, tall, knows how to finish and makes his free throws. The guards are pesky enough and have some length and quickness. They have a good bench, play d and are well coached. They have playe...

Re: EAST DISTRICT D2
New Philly loses at Warren tonight 47-44 ... A little surprising but you had to think Warren would get it together at some point, lot of coaching and tradition. Tri Valley beats John Glenn by 40 plus, Meadowbrook houses West M by 20 plus killing click and subs with 4:39 left, St.C rolls Harrison Ce...

Re: EAST DISTRICT D2
I'm seeing a juicy East L. Tri Valley matchup. I also think the top of that bracket between I.V., Maysville, Steubenville will be nice. Steubenville has a lot of size that could give Maysville problems despite Maysville being better all around. I.V. sitting there could also cause some problems. Phil...

Re: EAST DISTRICT D2
if and i know what goes with all that, dover would be the best team out of the east and beat anybody in the southeast district (pile on seo) From what I’ve heard of Dover this year, there’s nothing to argue about. They are stacked. That's what I am hearing too. I was surprised at how deep New Phila...

Re: EAST DISTRICT D2
D1 Dover beats Tri Valley 76-43 at TV. 18-0 to start. Does this leapfrog New Phila over Dover since Phila and Dover split? Also opens the door for EL and Meadowbrook to improve seeding over TV if they falter more and they finish strong? Didn't go to the game so not sure what happened. St. C loses i...

Re: EAST DISTRICT D2
New Philadelphia won by 17. At one point it was 23-2 and the coach pulled several of the starters for Big Red. Phaeton Hill without a point in the first half and sat. They were put back in a made a run in the second half to cut it to 9 with Hill hitting four threes. In the end Steubenville couldn't ...

Re: EAST DISTRICT D2
Heading to New Philadelphia tonight to watch the quakers vs Steubenville. It will be a good test after losing to Dover last night. Back to back games and against a Steubenville team that will test your maturity. Im hyped for this one Knock off Big Red and I'll put them with Meadowbrook. If they win ...

Re: EAST DISTRICT D2
Love the input. It's going to be a hard fought district with up to five having a chance. I get to sit back and watch a lot of good ball. One thing I see is most of these teams are senior laden. I know Maysville is young and TV will reload adding to a couple underclassman who start. The district is g...

I think Garaway is also a big sleeper. Ferry is going to hurt teams without a rim protector in the playoffs. I want to see Bellaire, they are so hit and miss. What was with the 196 points scored between them and St. C. darn.

Re: EAST DISTRICT D2
Haven't seen New Philadelphia in the regular season. I watched a scrimmage they had with Meadowbrook before the season. New Phila won big but Meadowbrook's only current starter playing was Singleton due to playoff football, so couldn't see anything off of that. New Philadelphia is always tough so de...

Re: EAST DISTRICT D2
Tri Valley and Meadowbrook probably one/two. Maysville is solid but can't play with Tri Valley inside. The Dawgs had their way in the post with them Their biggest player is a guard at maybe 6'1. Meadowbrook is probably 8-10 better than Maysville in a neutral playoff setting along with New Phila and ...

Re: Linsly at Fort Frye Sat. Dec 11th.
Don't know much about FF but Linsly is legit, recruiting heavily in several states and pursuing that Huntington Prep, First Love high level junior prep stuff now that Dave Wojick is there. He runs the aau programs filtering kids from a large pool. Local wheeling kids aren't making the team anymore. ...

Re: Week 13. Mesdowbro6 v St. Clairsville
Meadowbrook killed all of their drives with penalities in the first half, maybe caused by an outmatched offensive line holding. Second half was all running game with no answer from the colts so Henry and the rest of the line were dominant. Good season for the colts ended maybe a game past where I th...
