Re: TRIMBLE vs. Wahama: Bring it on !
Well I have read this garbaage for long enough. And thats what it is, a load of garbaage. I have spent a few years just reading posts about how great Trim-bull is and how they are going to beat this team and that team. Well now I have to respond cause it involves my White Falcons. I just want to te...

Re: Can anybody beat Wahama next year?
I think mightywhitefalcon is exactly right. There is NO CHANCE for anybody to beat Wahama this year. They are just too good and too well prepared for anybody in this league. We have a few moveins from Wahama and think they will be enough to propel us to a second place finish.

1985 Southern Tornadoes
Its been awhile since we won a league title but I would love to hear a few stories about this team. Anybody have the scores from this season? This was a unique year as this team started out 0-5 against nonleague competition and then out ran the table in the league to win Southerns last league title ...

Re: BEST 80'S FOOTBALL TEAMs
I would have to say that the 1985 Southern Tornadoes belong on this list. They were 5-5 with a SVAC title to show for their hard work. That team had some great players like Pete Roush, The Grueser boys, Jimmy Wolfe, etc. They were coached by Bill Hensler with an assist from Rutland legend Jim Venna...

I posted this last year but no one believed me. Coach Hill will be back in Racine next year. Cheshire can't hold him back.

Will the Levey Failure hurt Southern Basketball?
First AMP "pulls the plug" (Get it....pulls the plug......
) on the power plant and now the levey goes down. What affect does this have on the future of Southern basketball?

Re: 20010/2011 TVC-Hocking
Are high school basketball referees required to do any "Continuing Education" or re-certification training? I clearly think its warranted. The kids, families, and schools deserve fair reffing from trained professionals who at least know the basic rules of the game. The Fed Hock varsity co...

We need a meeting soon to get the offseason started strong for next season's deep tourney run. Be at Barber Tom's this Saturday morning. Somebody get the word out to Hopper 11 so he can be there to get the ball rolling.

Re: The feminization of the American Male
Are we producing soft males in today's society with some of these milktoast sports kids are playing? L.T one of the badest men to ever play LB plays golf and M.J one of the best ever basketball players plays golf. So there goes that stupid theory. Neither is any frakkin good at it though..... Re: Does the "Cut and Run" philosophy work all the time?
Let me clarify a few things for Mr. Cosell, I am not from Athens first off I am an observationist and I observe the things that go on aorund here in the sports realm. I come from up north where great footbal is played, And where powerhouses are built. But I feel like Athens is taking the fall for h...

Re: OHSAA asked to enter Public - Private Debate
Here at RACINE SOUTHERN - the home of the Racine Hustlin' Purple Tornadoes - we are proud of our teams that were "almost Champions". We are not in favor of any changes because it would dilute the accomplishments of winning a true state title or being a true runnerup as the case may be...

Re: Does the "Cut and Run" philosophy work all the time?
Southern is currently working on rebuilding the old SVAC. Not sure if it's cut and run if you go back form whence you came. Prelimnary talks have league members at Southern, Eastern, Hannan, and Manchester. If this flies, I think they would look at adding two more teams before leaving the TVC. I kno...

Re: SOUTHERN TORNADOES 2010
I am guessing this to be one of the tougher schedules Southern has ever had. Jeremy Dill will tell you that Southerns toughest schedule ever was Dave Gual's last year as coach when they played Chesapeake, South Point, trimble , and others. Of course, he will also tell you that he was the best playe...
