I anticipate the Indians will have their hands full in this game. Wheelersburg has had a full week to prepare for Valley and a total of three weeks to get the football out of their system. Wheelersburg at home is always tough!

West Union gave one of the league favorites (Lynchburg-Clay) all they wanted last night before losing 65-62. So far in this young season, West Union is making my prediction look pretty good.

West won 53-45. Played much better than in their opener. Haffer made an "And 1" late in the game. Bradford is an outstanding coach.

Congrats to West! Huge improvement over their opening game performance! I'm most impressed with Bradford as a coach.

After Valley & Minford, the League does not look to be as deep as in years past. I figure Valley & Minford will go 1 & 2. My pick for third place would be Waverly or Wheelersburg. Since Rinehart for Waverly is out for the first half of the league, I figure Wheelersburg should finish 3rd....

If the coach says "No Headband" than yes it is a rule. My understanding is coaches set the rules for their teams.

Very interesting way of saying things. I will have to do some checking. Any idea who will take over. Somebody will benefit from the last two year's work. This will be a very interesting hire.

My pick (West Union) started the season off by going 2-0 this weekend. Good start for the Dragons!

I didn't make it today but I'm glad to hear things went well. I would expect nothing less than excellence from Mr. Williams and North Adams.

This looks like a great day of basketball! I might have to make a trip to Adams Co. If "Pfloyd" is going to be there, the entire event will get first class coverage.

I am a little surprised Coach B. will not be back in the dugout this year. He played a lot of young kids the past couple years so I just figured they would let him finish what he started. Regardless ... Best of luck to the Panthers!

Dr .... Very well said!! Valley has taken over as the top football program in the SOC II but that doesn't mean Wheelersburg can't win a Regional title.

I don't know what type players they have returning but their young coach is very good.
