gotgame I hope you're right but the last few times I have been down to the Eagle's Nest it has been relatively dead compared to years past. Belpre better come to play because you know Liedtke is gonna have those boys ready...no way is he gonna let them get beat by 25. But if Belpre keeps their heads...

And the basketball assistants were Chad Williams (never played for Coach Cox, the current AD) and some other guy named Palmer who I'm pretty sure didnt even go to Belpre....sounds like the good ole boys to me

I wasnt refering to the head coaches, I was speaking of the assistants. Well if I'm not mistaken the head coaches at the very least have a say in who the assistants are, and might even hand pick them, themselves...so of course they're gonna get guys in there that they're comfortable with and think ...

Don't know how true it is but I just heard from a reliable source that Curt Plummer has resigned as Belpre basketball coach. That would be a shame lol but trust me, there is absolutely no way in hades the people on the board, the AD, and the super are gonna hire Dave Parsons...if it's gonna be some...

They will struggle against anyone with anything resembling an inside game next year. The only big man I can think of in the entire program is Josh Campbell, while he will be a decent player next year I think, he has no varsity experience. Belpre will be VERY guard oriented next year...

but, in his defense...the attitudes of some of the players and even parents...i almost feel bad for the guy...

I do recall seeing, at the age of 6, a certain undefeated, 24-0, #1 in the state chesapeake panthers roll into the convo in the '93 regionals and get spanked 58-40 by a Belpre team that went on to be state runner-up. So you never know whats gonna happen...but to be honest...i see Belpre being 1 win ...

I look for Belpre to take this one...but without Tate playing you never know. Guys like Slattery and Parsons and maybe even Rashawn Miller are going to have to step up big time.
