Re: Mike Bartrum

Good move for the whole TVC. I don't know Mike real well, but the times I have run across him, it has always been positive. I have always had a lot of respect for Chancey. The cats usually scrimmage with the Marauders and it is very productive. I think there staff and ours work well together. The ad...

Trimble vs Nelsonville York and maybe some prayers

There is a little Tomcat ,Brian Rowan, up in Childrens Hospital in Columbus. He is have a pretty ruff time. He will need to go thru some proceedures and medications to get well. The reason I titled this the way I did, was while Brian is up there, one of the nurses on his floor is Buckeye, Brandon Ma...

Re: Is The Trimble School Distirict finished

Once again, we will survive this and be stronger because of it. I surely hope there aren't folks out there that would like to see the district fail. I believe in our board, our teachers, our admisitrators, and most importantly I believe in the people of Trimble Township. This is a time when we come ...

Re: BEST 80'S FOOTBALL TEAMs

I am going to add Trimbles' 1980 team, (which I think was the best team in Trimble history) It featured Mike Roback, Gene Campbell, Larry Dixon, Scott Holbert, and my brother Eric, among many other Trimble greats. They went 10-0 for the regular season and lost to a tuff Newark Catholic team in the pl...

Re: Infield fly rule

As soon as the situation arises (the infield fly rule) the plate umpire should recognize the rule is in effect. At this time he should signal the base umpires. During the umpires pre-game they should go over things, like who is going to cover fly balls on certain situations, who has the tag ups, how...

Re: Unlikely Opponents Your Team Has Played

I was on the Trimble team that played at Conotton Valley and Yellow Springs. Long trips, when we played Yellow Springs, the locker room at our place, and the field and surrounding areas were flooded. The coaches and some parents used row boats to get the equipment out of the locker room, they piled ...

Re: Is The Trimble School Distirict finished

We aren't going anywhere. As I have stated in several post, on various threads, are Pride is to strong to allow are district to fail. The Trimble Alumni are resourceful folks, Look at the Trimble Textbook Foundation, the Trimble Alumni Football Assoc. etc. We pride ourselves in our academic achievmen...

Re: TVC Talent 2010

I think the two backs at Trimble (Dyla & Keith) are as good as any backs in S.E. Ohio. Dyla is a two-time All-State pick going into his senior year, Keith has the same tools, except he is faster (yes, faster) therefore I'll take these two compared to any others. I am not trying to start a fight,...

Re: Is The Trimble School Distirict finished

Thank You Mr B. I realize (and don't expect) all of you to be fans of the Cats, but I think losing Trimble or any school in our area would be devastating. I would like to think we would all rally around any district here in the valley if they fell on hard times. I think it is time for the whole nati...

Re: Is The Trimble School Distirict finished

Once again, As posted on another thread, The Cats aren't going anywhere. Are alumni are to proud and also have numerous resources to prevent any consolidation. Tomcat Pride isn't something we throw around, it is something we live. Granted there are problems and there will be more problems. We will b...

Re: Trimble Dominance!

I think it is really sad to think folks would like to see Trimble no longer exist. This is just another oppurtunity for the Cats to come together and show what we mean by Tomcat Pride. It is not just about athletics it is also about academics. We will prevail and we will be here for a long, long tim...

Re: Is The Trimble School Distirict finished

The proud alumni of Trimble Local will never let consolidation happen. I realize we are in dire straights, but we are fighters, and we will beat this. Things are going to turn around, and I believe the Cats will prevail. I am sure there are folks that would love to see the demise of Trimble, and tha...

Re: Does the "Cut and Run" philosophy work all the time?

I believe the Cats beat Belpre last year. Also if you look at our non-league schedule you will find we play teams that are almost always bigger.

Re: 20010/2011 TVC-Hocking

I think the Tomcats will have a good season. The best returning big man in the Hocking (Guthrie) returns. They will have to step up at the gaurd spots, But I think there is a lot to look forward to at Trimble. There are some young kids in the program that will contribute, and I look for big things f...
