Re: Bexley @ Newark Catholic score anyone?
NC is a championship program.
When they have a 'rebuilding' year, you had better get them early because later in the season they will be rebuilt!

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis
^^^^ Great recap of Logan's defense vs Gallipolis. The in game adjustment of abandoning the 4-4 was huge. It was obvious it was not going to stop us, and the correct adjustment was made. Many of the fans at the game did not know those adjustments were made. See my previous post. The strip of Taylor ...

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis
There are people who post on this site who have never played the game. These talk about formations or other things that never happened. They are easy to spot and its probably best not to even respond to their posts. There are those who have a player's knowledge of the game, it could be a lot or very...

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis
^^^ I agree with most of what you say. The sophomore QB has not been the reason for our lack of points. His family should be sick of hearing he should be replaced. We do not have a state contender, any moderately knowledgable fan knows this. You do not have to be an all american from OSU to coach su...

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis
I went down 23 to 35 last night. Just west of 23 an eagle flew across the road in front of us. It was a magnificent sight. There were no major injuries in the game. I have heard of no fans that had major difficulties getting home. Even though I would have liked to have seen the blue win, the above i...

GAHS had better not overlook anyone. With their offensive production anyone on their schedule could beat them.
Above is my post from last Monday, I still believe its true.

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis
it was the same offense they ran the entire night.they just had wore Ironton down so much and called a few more run plays in the mix but that's what a good offense does, it does multiple things out of same formation thus making it harder to defend. We were at two different games, the team I watched...

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis
Looking at LoganLocos projected lineup for tonights contest there are two players that played on the same jr hi football team in a school district that neither now attend. One plays for Logan and one plays for GAHS.

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis
Hey Pappy1, what exactly is the type of offense GAHS should run, according to most posters they run a little of everything and you don't seem to like anything they have done. I think I will bring it some clickers and pass them out and let you and all the knowledgeable fans call each play. I am sure...

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis
Grandma says she don't want pappy to make the long trip alone. She wants to see our grandson play. She isn't looking forward to the cold, wind and rain. Those four letter words dealing with weather are not good. I think she'll probably end up setting in the car most of the game. Probably leaving abo...

This will be one of the outcomes that I am most interested in this week. Hope its a great game for the fans and at the very least minimal injurys.

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis
Many fans are unhappy with the LHS program's direction.
Many fans are unhappy with the GAHS offensive strategy, I'm one of them.
More important than either one of those is an injury free game and safe trips to and from Memorial Field.
Good luck to both teams.

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis
Three years ago our personnel could have run the spread.
The offense should fit your personnel, the spread doesn't fit ours this year.
I also hope it works if they run it.
If they come out with it, hope they run at least 50% of the time.

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis
It will be interesting to see what offense GAHS runs this week. Several posts seem to think LHS is vulnerable to the pass. GAHS 's most effective offense has been the two tight end power running game. The powers that be at GAHS seem to dislike the power running offense. All things considered, they'l...

A friend of mine was one of the officials for the Jr hi games. He said he was impressed with Logan's 7th grade and Gallia's 8th grade.
