I must say you forgot a team that should be playing in week 11 off of Zville schedule. That should be the Logan Chieftains. After Friday night I would have to include them on the list. That passing game Friday was deadly!

I know it's possible for Athens to go out and play a great game - and possibly win by 20+ ... But it's also possible for Zanesville, who will be playing their home opener with their coach for the first time this year, to also play well and make it a great game.
Remember they were playing Newark who has a 4-36 record over the last 4 years
when I said there an ok team(Newark) that was being kind. And it’s not because they play a super tough schedule.
Z ran the ball 43 times passed 18 there a reason. They used 2 QBs and neither were impressive
3 ints. Missed handoff . Newark had 5 turnovers goofy fake punt. And ints because there QB is not
To good. Z can have 4 wide outs but if you can’t get the ball to them ?
Athens D hasn’t been tested much yet will see how they are against the run. That is why I say I don’t
See some 50 pt. 50 pt. shoot out .will see Friday. I watched the game and yes there were something’s
That were impressive but again it was Newark.
I would say Zanesville has a pretty tough schedule: Athens, Sheridan, Dover, and Tri-Valley should all be playing in week 11 (all from the same region). Yes the other 6 teams are not great teams, but most schools in Ohio are not playing 4 playoff teams on their schedule.
I was talking about Newark being 4-36 over last 4 years and not because they play super tough schedule.

Lets just face it athens defense will get scored on but with a offense like they have you can let other teams score

38% of the vote on the who wins it poll going to Zanesville...really?

Plus the prediction from moonshine lol that the Bulldogs lose...really?

Think Athens wins by 21, call it 49 to 28.

Logan just needs to thank whatever spirit or medicine man or whatever a Chieftain worships lol that they did not have to play Athens the last 2-years.

The purple has been spared the wrath of the Bulldogs in 2013 and 2014 lol....and get to play you guys the year after Burrow and company leave in 2015. Give their AD the Player of the Year award for that foresight.

I really do not know what to expect in this game. I wouldn't be surprised by either team winning by a point or by a couple of TD's and anywhere from the upper 20's to lower 30's winning or 55 or 60 needed to win. I'm really at a loss on this one but it should be fun to watch either way. By the way Cal Preps is giving Z-ville the win 38-31 and Maxpreps has Zanesville ranked #16 overall in the state and Athens #21.

Logan faces the Devils this year as well, maybe we can get a little comparison of the two that way. The way Logan played the Gales this past Friday Athens would have had their hands full if the two would have met this year imo.

And they both play Meigs,Warren,Gallia,Ny. Might be kind a hard to compare with running clocks though.Might have to go by halftime scores
