Any chance River Valley improves?

Post by NotBlizzardMan »

Were they senior dominated and a one year wonder or do they have the making of a dynasty?

Took the program a while to think they could win so hopefully now the system will be "up and running for a while". I do think changing leagues has helped get a winning record and confidence and believe that they can win every game they play.

Continue to strive! Help the younger dudes out in midget league etc...

Continue to strive to be the best you can be !!!!

They will continue to improve. Winning brings numbers so hopefully that will help as well.

Very good staff there now they will be tough next season as well. Maybe not as good but will be very competitive. They do lose some very good players

Non league looks to be Eastern, Gallia, South Point, and Waverly for 2016.

2016 will be a very, very interesting year for the Raiders. Any team that loses 15 seniors, which includes basically all of their skill position players, usually takes a step back that next year. However, I dont know if that will be the case of the now "young" Raiders. I'm not saying that they will win 7-8 games again and make the playoffs, but I dont think it will be a huge step back and disappointing season.

They have several good players back, Patrick Brown (who now takes the QB role from Dayton Hardway) leads the wave of younger players for the 2016 Raiders. I will say, doing the radio for the Raiders and watching them every step of the way, there were several freshman, sophomores and juniors that I mentioned on air and that greatly contributed to the team on the 2015 season.

Plus, as was said before, winning brings new attitude, brings new excitement, and with the coaching staff they have in place, the Raiders will continue to build on last years success!

2016 Schedule
Week 1- Eastern
Week 2- @blue
Week 3- @South Point
Week 4- Nelsonville York
Week 5- @Meigs
Week 6- Wellston
Week 7- @Alexander
Week 8- Vinton County
Week 9- @Athens
Week 10- Waverly

Alex will be down a little
Meg's will be about the same as this past season
Athens will be improved
Wellston..... Will be Wellston
Vinton County may show a little improvement
Nelsonville-york will be better but it will still take a couple seasons to get the Buckeye Express back on track.
The league will be very competitive again next year. River Valley will be right in the mix again.
