Most likely my last post on Whoa Momma football this year. This is the "who cares" poll? WV team waltzes through a really down TVC Hocking this year to take the crown. They had one challenge, which was anti-climactic, so, really no need to spend anymore focus on the White Falcons on here. Congratulations on your TVC title in Football and good luck in the other sports. See you next year on the grid-iron.

Yes it is sad that a small school from WV has to come to TVC hocking and show them how to play football. They will be the only hocking div team to make the playoffs. Not looking good.......

The playoff system in WV is softer....no doubt....but if anyone could make it, they would. Actually a 7-3 should get you in the ohio playoffs too so I wouldnt complain.....

Still think Trimble gets in.....

Hope your right trap, I see the Eastern- Trimble game being very important in the playoff picture.

Given the weakness of 6:23, a 7-3 could squeak right in...

I hope the TVC doesn't mail the league trophy to Wahama because if they do it'll have to be sent to a post office box and it might get lost in the mail. They could fedex or ups it I guess.

I agree about the Eastern-Trimble game.

Actually in WV everyone makes the playoffs right? Seems like I remember a couple teams getting in with 4 wins in the past.

Close game for a while, then Wahama pulls away.

In talking with their most recent AD, Wahama was having a terrible time scheduling games. Consolidation in West Virginia has made it hard to find single A games without driving too far to play. That being said, I highly doubt Wahama will ever leave the TVC.

Wahama wins this one. Wahama has a great football program and tradition, they will be competitive in the TVC every season. The TVC is a good fit for them and their kids. A chance for league titles and all TVC awards are a great thing for the kids at Wahama.

Top sixteen in WVSSAC rankings in classification go to playoffs since sometime in early 90s,before that only top eight. I do not believe a 4 win team would go....So no, every team in WV does not go to playoffs.

I understand that everyone doesn't go to the playoffs in WV. I'm just saying compared to Ohio...it seems that way. In Ohio 7-3 might get you in the playoffs, but in WV, I couldn't imagine a 7-3 team not making it. There just aren't as many schools in WV. Ohio takes the top eight per region, but ten years ago they only took 4. I'd like to see Ohio expand the playoffs. After all....... WHY NOT? 8)
