Ironton football 1979&1989???

Has anybody heard if they are honoring those teams this year. I had a 20 yr. class reunion this weekend and only heard rumors of it. If they are would you let me know so I can get a hold of some of the people that dont live around here anymore. I have left messages for Irontons AD Mark LaFon with no return calls.

I talked to Lafon and he mentioned it. He said that they are planning something for the Bishop Hartley week, I believe it is Oct 15th. He said he would make sure everyone knew about it.

I just got off of the phone with Mark LaFon and he confirmed they are having a 1979&1989 champs reunion on Oct.15. SO if you know any of those guys who do not live around Ironton anymore would you inform them. They are having a finger food type of get together in the high school cafeteria before the game and honoring both teams at halftime. You and a guest get into the game for free. Lets try and get all of these guys back home.
