The Tin Caps (2-4) scored three in the bottom of the seventh to take the first game of the doubleheader. Tyler Robertson (Louisana-Lafayette) led the offense 3-4 with 1 RBI. Devin Ortiz (Virginia) chipped in 2-3 1 RBI. Griffin Doersching (Oklahoma State), and Jarryd Dale each had a hit and 1 RBI. For Lake County (4-2) C.J. Kayfus (Miami) blasted his first bomb of the season and he had two RBI. Alex Mooney (Duke) blasted a solo home run (2).
