Rock Hill -vs- Verity (Ashland ky)

A fine performance by the young Redmen last night on the hill. A hard fought battle by both teams in their season opener. The game was better than the final score. RH 26-Verity 6. No 7th grade game was played. Verity had a noticable size advantage but "The Hll's" speed seemed to be the difference. Several turnovers by both teams but RHMS capitalized on one by scooping up a fumble and returning it about 50 yrds for a score. Good luck to Verity the rest of the season and hopfully we will see you again next year.
