things like special things you do to lures , bait, tackle, and such. your preference in equipment, anything like that.

i found a cheap way to keep my rods from tangling all up when we moved to lake white. instead of the huge tangle of hooks n plugs, i simply wrapped some aluminum foil around my hooks and plugs, maybe 12 poles, and tossed them in the truck, no tangles. and when i go out in a boat , i do the same thing. when i'm done with a plug, i loosely use the same foil, to wrap around it, no tangles when you pick up your rod again.

do you prefer mono, braid, superlines or flourocarbon for bass fishing. i know certain lines for certain applications, but what do you use most. things like that.

small pills bottles are great in a tackle box, i buy an assorted package of corks , for .99 to put loose hooks in. comes in handy if you get the winabi trots, but remove hooks first. THINK OUT THERE.

You use a small pill bottle for the "trots" ?? .....or do you use the corks to plug up your "trot" hole ??

When trolling, don't put out as much line as your fishing partner. Your bait will pass by the fish first.

If you toss food to a pack of dogs, the dog with the food will run away from the others. Same with fishing. When you get a bite, watch the way your line moves. If it moves left, other fish are probably to the right. If the line moves right, other fish are probably to the left.

Unless you are coughing, don't let anybody else hold your pole.

I never toss my rod around.

in reference to the minnow trap thead , thats what i wanted to do with this, and joke with each other, but it never took off.

Here's a tip, watch who you let use your rods. A few years back, I took my nephew to upstate New York where we were catching giant smallmouth. I had my old trusty worm rod with me but wasn't using it because the rod was loose from the handle. A couple of days and my nephew asked if he could toss it and I said, yeah, but..be careful. Anyway, he gives it a big huge toss and I watch in horror as my rod comes off the handle, the line snaps and that rod quickly disappears. Why was that so bad? it was my first ever worm rod that I caught my first bass on not only a plastic worm but a jig/pork rind pig too! Gone....I wanted to knock him out!

Would walking backwards with your fly down be considered trolling for suckers?
