We will have to see what the cutoff numbers are, but it looks like Peebles and Valley could drop down to DIV.

It is to bad Peebles could not have been DIV this past season but we were barely over on enrollment can't quite remeber by how much though. Last time I remeber us being DIV for sure was in 1999 when we lost in the District Final to Waterford after beating a good Franklin Furnace Green team in the District Semi-final.

West Union and Ripley had 174 boys in 2008 and in 2010 it is Ripley 132 boys and West Union at 119 boys.

Peebles drops from 147 boys to 117 boys

North Adams drops from 166 boys to 120 boys.

Has Adams County lost that many boys in (2) years? Wow!

No, I don't think they were ever D2. Northwest was possibly D2 a few years back.

I have heard that the Peebles numbers are wrong (along with a few others) and didn't include the vocational school kids, so they will jump back up around 150. I am not sure about Valley, but they could be in the same situation.

Valley has never been in Div II.
Was Class A in old format and always been D III under current one.
However, was D IV for a brief period in football - and made playoffs once.

at the end of the day the total will be accurate because the money received from the state is based on this number. some boys may be counted as girls and some girls may be counted as boys but the total will be accurate. yes, it does happen.

368-214 DII
213-123 DIII
122 or less DIV
