Caldwell playing horrible. Little bit because of FF, but most of their mistakes are them just not being smart. Not hustling, not rebounding, not making the easy pass. Some of these kids have played against FF, for years. You would think they would realize they have to get a hand up on shooters. Pure laziness.

since people from caldwell compared him to shon smith. come on. if he were on fort frye's team, you know he wouldn't even start. he is not what everyone from caldwell says he is, and caldwell is not the team they say they are and it is finally showing.

So people aren't allowed to compare players? No one that I'm aware of has stated that they thought he'd be better than smith. If you go back and read the pre-season buzz thread, the first guy to brig it up wasn't even from Caldwell. All he said was that he thought weichman could give smith a run for top PG in the league, and then stated that he thought smith was the best returning player. Never said he was better than smith. I see nothing wrong with people making predictions and having high expectations. When was the last time anyone was excited for he future of Caldwell basketball? It's good for both the community and the league to have some buzz surrounding this program. Ive seen these kids play many times, and I know what they are capable of. They aren't playing anywhere near their potential. Pretty much everyone agreed FF was the team to beat. You're all getting worked up over nothing.

The kids only a sophomore. Plenty of time to improve. Did he have a bad shooting night, well yeah, and that's going to happen from time to time. Happens to everyone. But shooting isn't everything. He hustled on D like he always does, and made a couple nice passes and drives to the hoop. The potential is there, just has to keep working hard to reach it.

Wiechman will be fine. Caldwell has chemistry issues, the older kids won't play because of the younger kids from what I've been told. Based on the word out of practice tonight, the coach decided to only play the older players and weich on varsity the rest of the way and is leaving the frosh all down, said they changed some things and had a great practice tonight. I know it wasn't the same team the past two games as it was earlier in the year, hope it works. Sad kids are like that though.
