Just to help clarify - Coach Derrow has 271 wins in 22 seasons- he actually missed 6 games during the 2005-2006 season and 3 games during the 2007-2008 season due to health issues. This season he coached the first 2 games of the season.(1-1)

Isn't Gary Shaffer the coach at Washington C.H. this year?

Barrick is originally from up around the Coshocton area. I think he coached at McConnelsville Morgan before coming to Wheelersburg. Also, if I remember correctly his overall record there was not that impressive before arriving at the Burg. I do think he's more than made a name for himself since, though. (just a little sarcasm !!!)

Coach Barrick spent one year as an assistant coach at Fort Frye. He then spent 4 years (1986-89) as the head coach at Jewett-Scio HS, and then moved on to Morgan HS (1990-94) before taking the head coaching position at Wheelersburg. At both J-S and Morgan, Coach Barrick's record was around 61-125 (around that). Both of these were rebuilding projects; Barrick's first season at each school were a struggle (0-3 wins); however, Barrick worked and developed these teams into consistent winners.

Either Persin's win total or his ranking is incorrect

I am confused on the Persin ranking. I would say he is close or past 600 by now. He was a 500 wins in what 2004 or 05?

Ron Lovely finished around 350 wins between Bishop Flaget, Piketon, and Unioto.

He is technically retired(coaching a 5th grade travel team) and will be inducted in the Unioto Hall of Fame tonight.
