Ripley is a 7 seed, Madeira is an 8. We're looking forward to the rematch on a neutral floor!! :). We haven't played Clark Montessori this year but we've had some experience with them the last 2. If we make it past them then we will probably face #3 Reading in the sectional finals.

Now, can ANYONE explain to me why we go West when everyone else around here goes East???

I see the SHL with a few long runs in the tourney. Eastern Brown can beat Fairland. Peebles with a good run and almost all of the D4 teams can go to the convo.

I agree. We only have one limb--Lynchburg/North Adams/Peebles...where teams are blocking each other from the districts.

#7 seems ridiculously low for Ripley, even with them going west.

How in the world did an 18-2 team get the 7 seed?

This kind of season would just reinforce my campaign to get to the Southeast District. Use every connection they have, kiss every butt they can, whatever it takes!

Southwest district is a lot deeper in talent than the Southeast there guys...not saying it's right that Ripley got the 7 seed, but it is what it is. Also, in the Southwest after they seed you get to pick where you want to go on the board, so Ripley's tournament bracket is probably a direct result in them and other teams around them wanting to avoid the top tier teams of the Southwest.

politics in the sw are similar to the se and i am sure all of the districts. ripley is the only school from the shl to go to d3 cincinnati. this year especially will be tough with taft being d3 for at least the rest of this season, they should go back to d2 next year. if each of the new years recruits were counted each season instead of every two seasons taft would probably have never dropped to d3.
the reason ripley goes to the sw is that all of brown county always went to the southwest untl eastern brown petitioned to go to the se and they obviously got the change. eastern has had much more success in the se tournament than they ever did in the sw. i am not sure if eastern ever got out of the sectional in the sw. and i doubt they would have gotten to columbus even with their australian recruits in the southwest.

MAJOR reason behind why Coach chose this location-we can avoid Taft as LONG AS POSSIBLE!!!

i think he was also avoiding shroder as he chose going all the way to monroe instead of going to western brown where they would have possible match ups with summit country day or shroder.

Dollich went for a ball fake and went up and over the shooter. He got up right after it happened and played the rest of the game.

Shoot. I would have loved to have seen the Dragons pull it off. Thanks for the update.
