Fairfield did what they had to do against Paint Valley to win the district title. A very good defensive effort to limit the red hot bearcats, but shooting %'s must improve quick.

Congratulations to the boys for securing the 3rd District title in school history and Coach Snyder for his 2nd (18 years apart).

It's a shame we cant play Peebles in the regional semi's. Instead we get the #1 Columbus seeded Harvest Prep. Tough match up for anyone in the SE area.

Fairfield has quite a few weapons that can carry them if someone is having a bad game. If they play the way they did when they beat Peebles by 15 or so earlier in the year they will be able to compete with Harvest Prep. They will have to shoot much better than they did against paint valley, handle the ball pressure and not be afraid to attack. Good luck to Fairfield, no matter what happens you have accomplished something to be very proud of.

I realize that no one wants to give the coach any credit - but, Coach Snyder has done a great job with these kids. I saw them the second game of the season. I wouldn't have given them much chance to make much of a tournament run. SUPER JOB, COACH!
