Caldwell won't win a game in the P.V.C. they are sad.....hopefully they have a sadder team in the non-league that they can get one against.

The paper said the big girl had 15 rebounds against River. Not sure how that qualifies as not caring.
Re: Fort Frye (2-0) @ River (1-1) Dec 8th
I read about that game with some interest. I consider it a huge failure by Frontier's players and coaches. If you're that bad and care about the rules so little, please just give up before you hurt people.pilotfan1 wrote:River is 3-1. Extremely athletic team, but no size. FF will win by at least 25.
Just played Frontier where they shot 65 FTs (101 combined between the teams).

The teams they are crushing are not very good. Weak conference!
Curious why Dan hasn't wanted to get into another league at least to get tested before tourney comes around?

Since when does the conf FF plays in revolve around girls basketball? They are playing Oak Hill,Defending state champ Liberty -Benton ,and Waterford twice.
Re: Fort Frye (2-0) @ River (1-1) Dec 8th
I wouldn't really consider the PVC to be a "weak" conference. In the past year FF actually lost to Monroe Central once, and they played some close games to Caldwell and River. This year might be a down year for girls basketball other than FF, so it's a good thing that they picked up Oak Hill, Liberty- Benton, and also Waterford. They will be fine.

Monroe Central is not considered a power in girls bball. Caldwell and River are not that great either. So if you have to name teams like Oak Hill and Waterford and Shadyside who are not in your conference to justify your schedule you make my point.EasternDspy wrote:Also played Shadyside and Wheeling Central in OVAC tourney last season
The PVC is weak compared to other conferences.

River almost beat Garaway last season.Fort Frye can't leave the PVC based in having a good girls team. They will do what Waterford does and play a tough non league schedule.

Re: Fort Frye (2-0) @ River (1-1) Dec 8th
I understand not leaving the league. You just shouldn't put so much stock into how good or bad your team is based on league results because most of those teams are bad. At least you are scheduling tough non-conference and when you play teams we know are decent you will have a better handle on actually where Fort Frye stands.
Saying you are crushing teams doesn't mean much if they are bad teams and you should crush them, maybe not as bad as you are (sportsmanship). You have only played one decent team and that was Warren first game with new coach trying to change things and you had them at home.

Fort Frye also beat Waterford 39-21 in a 2 court preview.Fort Frye is big and can shot only flaw might be can they handle pressure.
