Circleville fell 8-7 and 3-1 to Hillsboro. Go to Chilli 757 and 62 the next two days, then over to Lancaster for the Post 11 Classic over the Fourth of July.

Beverly/Lowell ended up going 2-2 with another game rained out in their trip to Napoleon last weekend.

Last evening B/L beat Logan 7-3 to improve to 18-13.

Todays game vs Toronto at Beverly has been canceled.

Next up is the four day tourney at Lancaster's Beaver field.

As far as I know, the Toronto game is the last home game on the schedule for Beverly/Lowell. Are they going to make it up?

Hillsboro Post 129 (18-17)
Portsmouth Post 23 (9-24)
Waverly Post 142 (19-11)
Circleville Post 134 (25-9)
Chillicothe Post 757 (13-22)

In the newspaper, it says that Post 757 got 5th place in the Beast of the East Tournament, but their record was 4-5 in the tourney and they got beat in the 5th place final game. Some bad info there.

Congrats to the Circleville Post 134 senior team for winning the District 7 regular-season championship for the second straight season. They'll play the winner of Chillicothe 757/Harrison in their first Region 5 tourney game next week.

No way the Gazette had bad info!! That was the first article I had read since basketball season and I was lost the entire way.

Where is the district tournament at this year?

First round games are at the higher seed and then the rest of the games are at the VA. All games are nine innings at the region level.

Technically its district play in the regular season and region play in the postseason since Legion ball went from 12 postseason districts to eight regions. Harrison joins the six District 7 schools in the Region 5 tourney.

Anyone confused yet? Haha
