South Webster with a tremendous showing against #3 in D3 Wheelersburg last night, falling 3-2. They are gaining some momentum heading into the draw.

Hopefully coaches understand the strength of their schedule/conference and rank them fairly. However, being that Martin RPI is not used in OHSAA Baseball (yet) I could see some coaching gymnastics being used to try and avoid them.

Should be a competitive Southeast district tournament this year. As always it will come down to pitching.

Miller 9
Millersport 3
Jakeway from Milllersport reached 100 K's this season. Miller had 13 hits against him. Falcons playing their best ball at the right time. Now 8-11.

Probably, but Not 1 of these teams will want to draw SW in their bracket.

No doubt but I’m sure either of them don’t want to find out too early.

It’s interesting to note that SV/SJ will play each other eliminating 1, then move on. It literally looks like the TVC/SHL got in a room to draw the bracket they wanted.

Eastern Meigs beat SJ soundly in a game that was 1-1 in the 5th.
So if TVC schools based SJ resume on that, they need to consider South Point swept a doubleheader from Southern 11-4, 7-0 then SJ beat SP 4-1 with SP using and pitcher in g2 of DH and then vs SJ
Southern votes SJ 13/22 who statistically have the best record winning %.
Might need to go to RPI for base seeding as well.

Eastern beats southern tonight 4-3. Id say both are contenders for their own district championship.

Green beat St. Joe 8-0 tonight to win the SOC1 league. St. Joe finished third behind Notre Dame.

The brackets appear reasonable, and I look forward to a competitive tournament. I don't know the RPI would have changed much. The formula is as follows:
RPI = (0.35 × WP) + (0.35 × OWP) + (0.30 × OOWP).
The component of the formula is calculated as follows:
• Winning percentage (WP): Divide the number of wins by the number of total games played. A tie is
worth half a win. If a win in an individual contest gives that contest a winning percentage of 1.00, a tie
would give that individual contest a winning percentage of .500 for both teams.
• Opponents' winning percentage (OWP): Average the winning percentages of a team's opponents.
(Note: This is not calculated via the combined record of the opponents, instead by averaging each
winning percentage of the opponents.) All games involving the team whose RPI is being calculated are
ignored in this process.
• Opponents' opponents winning percentage (OOWP): The same process as described above, except
calculated for the opponents of a team's opponents. Note that there is an exception for out-of-state
teams, which is addressed below.

Congratulations Green!

Not confirmed but heard that Jon Knapp threw a 7 inning no hitter in this game.
