Nothing against the B/L team but I'm surprised 23 was even able to field a full team. Half of their players are from Wheelersburg who will be playing tomorrow in the state semifinals. They must have used a lot of their younger kids from the junior team. Good luck to both teams this summer.

Beverly/Lowell beat St.Marys 6-5 in the first game, and led 5-4 in the top of the 5th when a big storm with lots of rain hit, and play was suspended.

Ah, that's why Portsmouth only had twelve players make the trip.
B/L makes the trip to Portsmouth July 11 for a D/H.

B/L split with St Clairsville yesterday, lost 1st game 5-1, won 2nd 10-0 in five inning mercy.

B/L hosts Meigs today for two games. First pitch 1:00. Bring a chair or set in the Reds seats, or the bleachers.

Good food from the concession stand with grilled burgers and hotdogs. Best popcorn in SE Oh. taco in a bag, nacho&chips, Gatorade, pop, water, cold candybars, & peanuts.

Great place to watch a game. Field is on the main drag behind the H. S. in Beverly.
