Gallipolis ran its 2013 winning streak to 13 Saturday in its first game of the Wooden Bat Tournament by blanking Johnstown Monroe, 8-0. In the second game, Tri-Valley blanked GAHS 2-0 to hand GAHS its first loss of the year. The Blue Devils are 13-1 overall and 5-0 in the SEOAL

GAHS will travel to Pt. Pleasant Monday for a non-league game with the Big Blacks, who have won nine straight and are 12-6 overall.

Tuesday, Logan will visit Gallipolis for a make-up league game. Wednesday, GAHS will host Jackson in a SEOAL contest and Friday, the Blue Devils will host Chillicothe. Saturday, GAHS will play a twinbill against Athens and Unioto at the VA Stadium in Chillicothe.

They stayed in Cincinnati Friday night. Were supposed to play at waverly Friday night but that game was cancelled due to rain and the two games in new Richmond were the only ones that got played for the tigers weekend getaway.
